Promise Terms - Gatewood Fence & Gate

The Promise, in One Paragraph

Every job Gatewood Fence & Gate performs carries a 90-Day Done Right Promise, stamped in writing on your invoice – not buried in the fine print, not subject to a phone tree. If the work we did doesn’t hold up within 90 days of your service date, one call to (877) 610-2993 brings us back. No forms to fill out, no fees to pay, no receipt to dig up. Hal’s name is on the work, and that means something.

What’s Covered

  • The workmanship on your job. If something we installed, adjusted, welded, or repaired fails because of how we did it, we come back and fix it at no charge.
  • Parts we supplied and installed. If a part we sourced and put on your gate fails within 90 days, we replace it – labor included.
  • The return visit itself. There is no trip charge, no diagnostic fee, and no invoice for showing up again. The promise covers that visit entirely.
  • A full redo when a repair doesn’t hold. If we repaired something and it fails the same way again within the window, we don’t patch it a second time – we do it right.
  • Site cleanup. We left the job clean the first time. We’ll leave it clean again.
  • Our assessment if something seems related. If you’re not sure whether an issue is connected to our work, call us anyway – we’ll look and tell you honestly what we think.

What Isn’t Covered

  • Storm damage, impact, or accidents after our visit. If a truck backed into the gate or a tree branch came down on it, that’s a new job – we’re happy to help, but it isn’t covered under the original promise.
  • Work done by someone else after we left. If another person or company worked on the gate after us, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do.
  • Parts you supplied yourself. We’ll install customer-supplied parts when asked, but we can only warranty what we source and control.
  • Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install. If your existing motor was already aging when we came out to fix something else, its natural decline isn’t on us – though we’ll be straight with you about what we’re seeing.
  • Problems you declined to have fixed when we flagged them. If we pointed out a second issue during your service call and you chose to hold off, that item isn’t covered – but the offer to come back and address it still stands.
  • Anything caused by a change in how the gate is used. Adding a heavier vehicle, changing the automation settings, or installing third-party hardware after we left can shift outcomes in ways we didn’t account for when we priced the job.

None of those exclusions mean we won’t come look. Call us, describe what’s happening, and we’ll tell you whether it’s covered before we book the visit. We’d rather take five minutes on the phone than have you wondering.

How to Use the Promise

Step 1: Call (877) 610-2993 or book online.

A live person answers that number every hour of every day – no voicemail, no overnight queue. Tell whoever picks up that you’re calling about a promise return, and they’ll know exactly what that means.

Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when.

Give us your name and the address where we worked. We have the job on file – you don’t need a receipt, a confirmation number, or anything else.

Step 3: We schedule the return visit.

We’ll get you on the calendar, and we give you a real window – the same way we did the first time. If anything slips, we call before it does.

Step 4: We make it right.

The technician who comes back has your job history. No re-explaining, no upsell pitch, no charge. We fix what needs fixing and leave the site clean.

Timing

The 90-day window opens on the date we performed the work – you’ll see that date on your invoice. If something comes up on day 91 or 92, call us anyway. We’re not in the business of hiding behind a calendar, and if the issue is clearly connected to our work, we’ll be reasonable about it. What we can promise in writing is 90 days. What we can promise in character is that we’re not going to slam a door in your face over two days.

Each location in the Gatewood Fence & Gate family is independently operated – but every one of them honors this promise the same way. The 90-Day Done Right Promise isn’t a head-office policy that a local crew can waive. It’s on the invoice, and the invoice is the commitment.
